Communing with Nature

I am alone in this stinky room,
None can be seen by me,
Although I have a tree outside,
For some company.
I wave and the tree ignores it,
I think that's rather slack,
Some wind comes and it reconsiders,
And decides to wave back.
What did I learn form this experience?
Wind is your friend.
It allows the inanimate to be friendly,
And here's the message I will send:
Pass wind in public often,
You'll have more friends than you thought,
But a word to the wise here:
Just don't get caught.
(Or, better still, blame someone else.)
