With my focussed attention;
The world slows
Blurs
Moves past with unhurried deliberance
Defying rationalism
Taunting
Challenging me to dispute this
But struggle I will
Determined
I will be victorious
Life is finite
Defined
Subject to the laws of nature
I will understand
Development
Of myself will be my saviour
I shall overcome, reaching
Enlightenment.


Written while really drunk, the "With my focussed attention; The world slows" bit came first, because I was concentrating so hard, but everything seemed so slow. Using the first few words as the inspiration, I just kept going with the feeling.
